My King is a monologue that was a part of The Finnish National Theatre’s Touring Stage.
The drama is based on Henri Michaux’s surrealistic novel. The performance tells a story about a person locked inside her room (and head), struggling with her King. In the play her King is being represented by a huge exercise ball. The performance was originally aimed towards audience members who deal with eating disorders.
The project was funded by Arts Promotion Centre Finland and Finnish Cultural Foundation.
